A few WP issues – looking for guidance (genesis framework , appendity theme)

  • I am having a few issues – – I am not a programmer and this is my first time using wordpress ever.

    I am wondering if there’s anyone here that can help me out?

    I will list the issues here… you can email me or we can discuss it here.. Ideally – I’d love to know how to fix these issues myself – but if I have to pay someone – I will.. I would just like to fix these last few issues – so I can feel like I can focus on actually promoting the site/podcast with a clear conscience.

    It is the genesis framework , podcast theme.

    Issues:
    1) READ MORE link opens new window on main page – instead of staying on same tab.
    2) The SOCIAL LIKES don’t appear on the main page summaries – only when you open the full post.
    3) The FB LIKE doesn’t appear to actually appear on facebook for some reason.(at least not for me)
    4) SEO isn’t set right or being used at all.
    5) I am not sure I am using JETPACK correctly or Google Analytics correctly – and feel I may have some redundant plugins (or not the best ones for the jobs at hand)
    6) it seems slow – not fast enough.

    Lastly – I am looking for some guidance in making sure my site/podcast is set up right – if I am missing anything. Because we just launched yesterday – and I’d like to make sure it all looks/feels right.
