a few questions about display
-
Hello – I was using WP Touch and was having issues with W3TC cache.
I decided to give your plugin a try with the idea of buying the pro version once I figured everything out.
Here’s my question. In my house, I have a computer, 2 iPhones, a Blackberry and a laptop all on the same wifi network. I set up the plugin, which was easy, added in the websitez_is_mobile to the W3TC rejected cookie field and checked my site on the iPhone, from my home network, and I liked the way it looked.
Then I went back to my site on my desktop, visited my site and got the mobile version. My user agent string is set up correctly on my computer and is not for a mobile version How come it does that? Is that the way it is supposed to work because I am on the network? Will I have the same thing occur with the pro version.
The last thing is just a suggestion. I saw some other people asking about the customization. I spent a good amount of time researching a mobile plugin and that’s how I found you. One of the things that attracted me was that the plugin said it offered customization to match the theme.
When you read your info about the plugin here https://websitez.com/wp-mobile-detector-guide/, it does seem that theme customization is supported in the free version. I read the other threads and figured out that it is only pro but that is probably why people are asking about it so you may want to clarify that because it it not clear.
I would want the pro version because I do not want the ad supported version.
I really like the plugin but I just want to make sure it’s working right because the WP Touch was doing the same thing as far as showing the mobile version on my desktop.
Thanks for any info.
