    public site pages: https://mtpeo.org/

    Hello,

I am trying to set up ARMember for a not-for-profit club which raises funds for women’s scholarships. We need a very simple set up. We need to limit access to most pages to members with no payment at all. We need to import our membership list. We would also like a few public pages.

We are having a few problems.

    1. When I enable the plugin and set access for all pages for all members and also for those with no membership level, viewers can only see our home page. I’m obviously missing an important step.
    2. When I try to do a test import of members, it only displays the top two records from my CSV, the title row and the first actual record. I am also unable to “select” this actual record.

Advice would be greatly appreciated. I have tried the import on firefox, chrome, and edge.

    Thank you in advance!

    Hello,

    1. As I understand your request you have allowed all the pages for the membership plan and for the “User having no plan” as well, therefore when a user visits your site they will be able to access the Home page as all other pages are restricted, hence, if you are willing the visitors to check few pages then you can remove the default restriction for that page at the ARMember Lite -> Content Access Rules.?
    2. Regarding the “import” then ARMember Lite does provide a facility to import new users at your site, but if you are trying to import a user which already exists to your site then the checkbox for that member will be disabled, if the member already exists then, it will not import those members.

Please check accordingly and let me know how it goes.

    Thanks

    Hello @dimplemodi,

    1. Yes, and no. For testing purposes, I initially set all pages to be visible to everyone. Since this is a live site. Once I have everything configured and users imported, I was then going to “hide” pages to those who are not logged in. However, here ARMember Lite -> Content Access Rules, I initially set all pages to be visible to those with the free plan as well as those with no plan at all. But whether a user is logged in as a member or not, they are only able to see the home page.
    2. I am trying to import 3 users for testing. These users do not already exist. I’m only able to see the first one even when I change the order of the records in the file. I’m not able to select that record.

    I’m at a loss.

    Thank you for any suggestions.

    Hello,

    1. Regarding user is logged in or not, unable to access the page. I have checked accordingly at our local server but the issue was not found. Kindly confirm that the Content Access Rules you have setup correct after that you may get working without any issues.

    2. Kindly download the sample file from the ARMember Lite -> General Settings -> Import/Export page in the User Import section add those 3 records in the sample CSV and upload that CSV which should work fine.

    Thanks

Were you able to successfully import a member list to ARMember? I am having the same issue. The plugin specifies that you can import a member list, but only one that was exported from ARMember. I have a list that I need to import that was NOT created in ARMember, but I can save it as a csv file, no problem. So I am very interested to hear if you were able to import your member list. Thanks!

I was eventually able to import but had too many issues with set up etc. and finally gave up and went with another plugin.

    Good luck!
