A Few Enhancement Requests

  • I’m a paid multi-site user.

    1. We absolutely need a way to mark a WP Comment as “not spam”. I’ve had several from live humans who are definitely not using bots. How do I know this FOR SURE? Because I’ve gone into Incognito Mode and tried to enter their comment myself, and it’s spam-trapped.
    2. We need a way to search through banned IP Addresses. When a customer says he can’t get into the site and “here’s my IP address,” I’m not going to go through 123 pages (as of now) to see if maybe that’s why he can’t get into the site.
    3. We need a way to more quickly clear out banned IP addresses AND the Spammer Submissions. Your option is to do them one at a time, with a page refresh every time. Ridiculous. I want a way to mark (checkbox) an entire page and delete them all at once.
    4. You have a setting to auto-delete Spam Submissions after X days. Great! Where is the setting to auto-delete IP addresses after X days?
    5. I would like the ability to set my own field name for the honeypot, and not be *forced* to take the random string you generate.

    Thank you for considering these requests. You are doing a great service for site owners against the slimy subhumans that are spammers.

    Hi, Thank you so much for buying our extended version. It really helps us alot.

    1. If even human posted comments are marked as spam, then there is high chance our plugin is not working as expected. It only happens if the js is not loading properly or there is js error.

    2. Ya. Really should add this one. ??

    3. For this we have Delete All Blocked Ips button in top right of the list. It clears all bolcked IPs at once.

    4. Usually, i haven’t got this request. But we can have this as option.

    5. Our effectiveness comes from the unique random field that are hard to guess and not common.

    1. Well, it happened both to the user and myself. The most recent time, the user tried it a couple of times and got locked out. Since it was a recent block, I could easily unblock it. I was able to post it for him without incident. Still, it would have been better if I could just push it back to the Comments queue and approve it.

    3. Definitely not good enough: I don’t want to delete them all, since they were put there for good reason. But I figure it’d be nice to delete old ones, and I don’t want to do that one by one.
    4. Yay!
    5. I don’t see how ANY honeypot field wouldn’t work, but I won’t ask you to reveal any “secret” methods.
