HI…liking your plugin. I’m having an issue with thumbnails displaying. They are not showing up anywhere…the only images that are displaying are from a tumblr image blog.

My current settings are as follows:
    Show HTML formatting.
    Show images.
Strip CDATA tags. (also tested it set to Allow CDATA tags)

    Input feed caching:
Use direct download (also test it set to Use download client)

Anyway, it looks to me like there are placeholders for images on the google news feed…but u can check out the page here: https://www.collectorsbluebook.com/goldiefiles/newslinks/

One more item. I am using “all feeds” for my main news page and also have some category specific news feeds…I want to display a different number of articles using the “Hide Articles Parameter”. Is there a shortcode available for this parameter? Here’s an example page…where I would like to display 5 articles before the hide articles parameter kicks in (I have it set to 2 in the settings area).

    I really like this toggle feature…but then I’m a bit of a togglemaniac<G>.

    Regards,
    Will

    Hi BigDogSF,
Sorry it took so long to respond. WP doesn’t send an email to the forum owner when a new post goes up. At least we have not seen it yet.

    Anyway,
SP does support image thumbnails, but not in a generic fashion right now. Please post your feed URL that contains the images so that we can add it to the parser. If the images are embedded in the feed content, then they ussually show up just fine.

Right now there is not a ‘hide articles’ param on the shortcode, but that’s a great idea. We’ll put that on the list of features to do.

    Hi BigDogSF,
There is a shortcode param you can use called limitArticles.

Try adding limitArticles=numlimit where numlimit is the max num articles you want shown per feed in that shortcode. If you put 1 feed per shortcode with the limitArticles param, this might address your requirement.

Seems that this is resolved… Did the limitArticles param solve the issue?
