If you have a lot of fields on a form and several entries made by an individual then the View edit and delete buttons are not visible as they are off the page on the right and no scroll bar was displayed to get to them.

View and edit buttons don’t seem to do anything on clicking them using Firefox or IE as the browser. The screen just flashes. Delete does work though.

This is on a development site on localserver so can’t post a link.

Sticky List only ships with a minimal stylesheet. You need to customize the list yourself by adding CSS to the list table. You can do this by targeting the table. The list table has the class .sticky-list

As for view and edit buttons that don’t do anything: In Sticky List settings, make sure that you select the page/post that the form is embedded into.

Please test above suggestions and post back with the results.

I will play around with the CSS.

I can confirm that I do have everything you suggest already set in Sticky List Settings. Still no difference view and edit just flash the screen and nothing else.

Does it make any difference if these entries are stored in a custom database table?

That’s very strange. Do you have the form in the same page as the list?

You do need to have the actual form embedded in a page (or post) in order to edit the entries. The embed link in settings should point to the form, not to the list.

Could you please check this and post back. Also check the plugin FAQ. I would like to mark this topic as resolved.

I have given up on this plugin as I could not get it to work in my install.

Ok, have you tried the latest version? I have made some updates that might fix the issues you are experiencing.

Here are the things you should try:

    1. Make sure that you select the page/post where the FORM (not the list) is embedded. Gravity List needs this link to know where the entries can be viewed/edited.
    2. Try the latest version
    3. Check the FAQ to see how you can fix common issues
    4. Do not give plugins a bad review without allowing the author to help you fix your issues

I believe that the reason that view & edit does not work for you is because you have selected the wrong page/post in the embedd dropdown.

    • You need to have a form embedded somewhere for those buttons to work.
    • You need to select that page/post in the embedd dropdown
