    Hello WordPress

WordPress has a large ecosystem, which other Frameworks, or other CMSs do not have.
For non-programmers like us, we really need this ecosystem. It’s important number 1.
But other Frameworks, or other CMS, they hit the weak point of WP: clean source code.
It’s okay, fix it when you find it.

And I have only one last wish: don’t load useless CSS/JS in Wp-admin
    Screenshots: https://imgur.com/7kh1mLC
I want to: load these files only, when needed, instead of every page.
Can you give me a direction, to do this?

I use WP, as a software as a service. And wp-admin, which allows my clients, to create their own websites.
I look forward to more sustainability. And one of the things, for the sake of sustainability, is not to load a lot of resources when you don’t need them.

    Hope you help me.
I know it can be hard, but I’m really looking forward to this.
If it happens, I think: WP is second to none, in terms of solidity.
    Thank you very much

    To Thai

  • hi @thaikieutrinh2018

As I understood, you want to remove unused css to reduce load time or similar.

recently i did the almost same with my website to use “wp-rocket” plugin.

they have provided a step by step guide to do that with wp-rocket plugin. here you can checkout thier active thread about it

No, it’s not like that. I mean CSS/JS files, in wp-admin.

It is located in the Backend. Not files when loading in Frontend.

    In wp-admin, WordPress loads a lot of CSS/JS, in wp-admin, wp-includes folders.

I want WP to not load them by default anymore, but only when needed.

    I know it’s very difficult.

I hope, this is possible, in the next version of WP. Like WP Lite version for example

Can anyone tell me how, to be able to unload CSS/js, in wp-admin?

WP Core(no plugin) loads up to 50-70 css files, js, in wp-admin.

If it’s one person’s website, this shouldn’t be a problem.

But it is big problem, when developing Multisite. Lots of users, access to wp-admin.

By the way, who knows, wp improves performance, becomes excellent.

We keep feeling that WP is weak and confused, actually because:

    • Messy Html because of automatically generated
    • Poor plugin,
    • And messy Wp-admin.

Only the cleanliness of wp-admin, we have not conquered.

I believe that, if we can fix this, we will “feel” wp at its peak
