    Hi!

    I really liked the work of your plugin, but there is the following problem:

    On my site, the <meta charset = "UTF-8"> tag is below
    <! - / Squirrly SEO Plugin ->

    although in the header.php of my theme is as follows:

    <head>
    <meta charset = "UTF-8">

    validator.w3.org considers this a error:

    Meta element found after the first 1024 bytes.

    I need to raise the <meta charset = "UTF-8"> tag
    before
    <! - Squirrly SEO Plugin 9.1.15, visit: https://plugin.squirrly.co/ ->

    How can I fix this?

    Hi,

    The default charset is UTF-8 and the charset meta it’s not mandatory to be the first meta in your header.

    The best way to validate a page is with Google Search Console > URL Inspection.
