a carbon copy of the confirmation email

  • I am very satisfied with the nice plugin,
    but I have one question about the confirmation mail
    for reservation. Is it possible to send
    a carbon copy of the confirmation email to administrator
    in addition to the user’s mail address ? I know
    you answered it only go to a single address in a similar
    topic before. Does this mean even a CC mail is impossible ?

  • This isn’t possible now, but a CC field added to is a great idea. I am currently revamping the way the emails are handled – I’m changing it to entering both From and Reply-To, so I can add CC and BCC while I’m in there.

    This would be part of the 2.0 upgrade, or immediately after it. I’m testing 2.0 live on our own site as of yesterday. If it continues to work bug free I’ll make it live soon.

    That sounds good. If CC and BCC can be added, it would be nice.
    I’m looking forward to a further upgrade of this plugin.

    In the upcoming version that we are currently running at our own library, I’ve revamped how the mail works. There is now both a From name and email field, Reply-To name and email field, and a CC: and BCC: email field. It also uses wp_mail() now instead of the built in PHP mail(), which means if you use a WordPress SMTP plugin it will use that instead of the stock PHP method.

    Once I feel it’s pretty bug free, I’ll add it to the repository. I am also putting up my latest test build on our Facebook page shortly if you’d like to test it.

    Can you try the new version. It offers new mail settings including the CC and BCC
