The setting in the share section that says it will convert images to be compatible, on Facebook, blocked all my share images and replace them with blank white backgrounds. When I turned it off the images came back and I know this because I went to the Facebook share debugger and tested it before and after I disabled the setting. So the people that code for Jetpack need to fix this. Because no telling what else it might be blocking which could hurt our ranking in search engine searches as well. In case anyone wants to test this just try to share 1 of your pages on Facebook with the share option to convert images to be compatible and see for yourself. Here’s the link to the Facebook share debugger.

    Hi @ikester7579,

Thank you for bringing this issue to our attention. It’s quite unexpected for the image auto-conversion feature in Jetpack to cause the issues you’ve described, as its primary function is to adjust images to meet specific platform requirements—this involves changes to format or size, rather than altering the content or blocking the image entirely. There might be another underlying cause for this problem.

After examining the site link you provided, it seems that this issue occurred with only a single post shared on Facebook, unless I’ve missed something. I also noticed that you’re using an SEO plugin which I’m not entirely familiar with. It’s worth considering whether this plugin could be affecting the og:image tags used by Jetpack, possibly leading to the issues with image sharing on social media platforms.

Could you please check if the SEO plugin settings might be conflicting with Jetpack’s features? It could be helpful to temporarily disable the SEO plugin and try sharing a post on Facebook again to see if the problem persists. This step could help isolate the cause of the issue.

    I hope this helps.
