A blog within WP Ecommerce page?

  • I want to have a page (on the top navigation tab) where if the user clicks the tab, it will be a blog (within the same page), a blog where I can regularly update with contents and news. Anyone know a good plugin for that, or if that’s possible to do without a plugin? I’m using the WP-Ecommerce plugin for the site already and it’s an ecommerce site, so I don’t want that to turn into a blog. I just want a blog within the site.

  • Hello OricaShop.
    What you want to do, is create a new page, called Blog (or something similar).

    Then go to settings -> Reading
    Change your front page to “static page”, and change your posts page to “blog”

    Is it possible to have the homepage be directed to the blog? Because WP isn’t letting me set the homepage and blog page as the same page.
