• I installed HT Mega just so I could apply a news ticker to my site. I discovered it is a very heavy plugin and it completely slowed down my admin dashboard to the point where admin pages wouldn’t even load, them being so bogged down.
    I swiftly deactivated and deleted the plugin, and my admin dashboard went back up to full speed.
    Shame that the developers haven’t noticed this issue before releasing it.
    If I could have given it 0 stars I would.

    We have fixed the issue, would you please check it again by activating the plugin. I would like to let you know that the issue was due to the template library. Now, it is working fine.     I have the same problem. On SiteGround, my CPU usage breaks the limit just by clicking on some links of the admin pages (front-end is normal). When I deactivate the plugin, all is back to normal.

    I don’t know exactly when this began, but I guess it is in one of the last updates, maybe 1.9.0.

    This is a big issue, I can’t keep the plugin, I will have to change for another one.
