_wordpress in permalinks

I just took over a friends site as she was struggling creating it- and i’m not sure what’s going on with the permalinks on it.
It is putting the website name and _wordpress on every page. I can’t switch it under the permalinks or in the pages. Example: https://www.myivorypearls.com/myivorypearls_wordpress/
