• I have recently noticed that there are a few files between my site’s files (same folder than the .htaccess o index.php):

the files names are like: _sl_test_1691339033.html

We have had a few attacks over the last months, so I am wondering if anyone knows where do these files come from, if they’re part of a plugin or I should be worried.

    Thanks in advance.

The filename with the numbers is a timestamp, and I glanced at one file and it had the same time as content.

_sl_test_1691339033.html has just 1691339033 as the HTML content.

This may be a hack, and it may be a plugin putting files in silly places. Do you have any that would relate to “SL”?

@ipstenu I have checked my plugins but at first glance none of them seem to relate to “SL”.

This is a technical IONOS (1&1) problem.
Same problem on one of our customer servers.

We have check the SFTP-Log and identify an user named “sitelock-********” means the IONOS Sitelock-Product write these crap-files. Tech support told me to delete the files myself and they were from the IONOS software.

Regarding the point that files are now constantly being generated, the Tech support said… that’s just the way it is. It is IONOS.
