• We have a multi-site, with a similar contact form on each.

For both the Mail and the Mail (2) sections, I’ve used [_site_admin_email] on subsites.

For Mail, I use [_site_admin_email] in the To field. See https://www.screencast.com/t/JIPf0ebpM.

This sends an email to the email address specified under Settings > General > Administration Email Address. We’ll call this [email protected].

For Mail (2), I use [_site_admin_email] in the From field. See https://www.screencast.com/t/rFa9xjHl.

When this email gets sent (as an auto-reply to the person submitting the contact form), the From field has a different email address than what is specified under Settings > General > Administration Email Address, even though I’m using the same [_site_admin_email] variable. We’ll call this [email protected]

The only place I’ve been able to find this [email protected] email address is in under Settings > General > Administration Email Address for the main site. But even when I change the Administrator Email Address for the main site, Mail (2) still sends to the same [email protected]. Unless for some reason there was a cache of the old Administrator Email Address on the subsite?

If I manually change the From line in Mail (2) to include a separate email address, it still sends from [email protected]. See https://www.screencast.com/t/5AKxESLXtodw

Is anybody able to help me figure out where the [email protected] email address is being pulled from, and how change it in the From line for Mail (2)?

    Thank you,

    James
