_shipping_last_name No Longer Working?

I looked at the documentation here:

but not sure which one is applicable here ??

This is actually WooCommerce related rather than PDF invoice related. first name and last name are no longer custom fields in WooCommerce 3.0 (they are ‘order properties’ now). Instead, you should use:

echo $this->order->get_shipping_last_name();

Or even better, witch 3.0 there’s a function to get the full name in one go, using get_formatted_shipping_full_name().

In your example:

<div class="order-name"><?php echo $this->order->get_formatted_shipping_full_name(); ?> 様 </div>

Btw thanks for the heads up on the change to WooCommerce. I have a hunch there are other plugins that I might need to look at.

You’re welcome! Yes, quite a lot has changed internally with WC3.0. A lot of things will still work with backwards support, but some things don’t. Most of the changes are actually very useful though ??
