• I used the bulk optimization process with conversion options and checking “Delete originals” on 4500 attachments or ~ 71 000 images (a terrible theme with tons of image sizes). I didn’t get any failures during the process, but when I checked in the uploads folder, it turned out that files like 1_org.jpg exist right next to 1.jpg.

Missed to check the debug checkbox, will it help me clear things out now? Is there an easy way to get rid of the org files? I’m currently scanning with WP Media Cleaner, but was wondering if this has happened before and if there is some other way to fix it.

EWWW IO does not create any files with _org in the filename, check your other plugins for culprits.
