I’m running W3 Total Cache i.c.w. our Nginx site. I’m experiencing the problem of W3 total cache adding _old to every page cache file. I’ve searched through the problem but can’t seem to find the cause to this problem. I think it is a real problem since the nginx.conf that is being genereted by W3 doesn’t include _old within the try_files block.

I hope someone can help me with this problem!

    Hello,

_old files are created when the cache is purged.
It’s normal to have the _old files. If you always have only _old files – that’s a sign something purges cache all the time. Like the theme or some plugin.

@vmarko Thanks for your reaction. I already figured that, but couldn’t figure out what was causing it. I replaced it with WP Super Cache since we’ve always used W3 and Super cache for our clients.

But anyway thanks for all the support.
