  • You have Guestmode enabled and to make this feature work _lscache_vary cookie must always be set at the first request, indepentendly if a user is logged in. If you don’t want this cookie to be set at first request you must disable Guestmode.

Ok. what does guest mode exactly do, tp speed things up?

Is there any disadvantages of disabling the guest mode?

    Thanks @serpentdriver

    I need two more help!!

    1. If we buy credits/coins for CDN in quic.cloud will that be used for single hosted domain or can we use it for multiple domains linked in particular account?

    2. If someone wants to have bot crawl setup who has VPS hosting, can you please let me know how to setup so that, when we purge the cache, it can be loaded quickly across all the CDN centres (quic.cloud) for first time users?

    Thank you.

And so, in this above case for Litespeed cache plugin there’s only one cookie > _lscache_vary right? Which we have to show in GDPR consent policy for users?

Which category it should be in?

    Functional, or necessary cookies?

There is only 1 cookie that is set by the cache plugin if you don’t set an additional custom cookie for login, but the question is if you must show the information about _lscache_vary cookie in GDPR consent, because it is only a technical cookie that must be set without user consent?! But I’m not a lawyer. If in doubt, simply enter this cookie information.

Which category it should be in?

    Functional, or necessary cookies?

Both, it is a technical cookie that is necessary to get the page work.

This you should ask quic.cloud support or use LiteSpeed Slack. There is a special channel for quic.cloud.

    Hi,

    1. the purcahsed credit will be put to your account as account-level credit , which means you can spend them on any domains you hold as you see fit , like spend 5k on domain A for CDN , spend 2k on domain B for page optm …etc
    2. unfortunately there is no such setting , best approach is to set crawler aggressively , so it will run as much as possible and as shorter as possible , once you page is cached at backend , it will be served as static request through CDN which should be fast enough
