__() creating function conflict in 4.7

  • Hi,

    The __() function in l10n.php is causing a function already defined conflict with a PHP framework.

    The only solution I can seem to figure out is to change the code in l10n.php and the other file. This seems a poor decision given that it will likely be written over by future updates.

    Is there anything I can do in order to solve this problem through variable setting, etc? Even potentially turning off the translation functionality somehow?
