Eyerytime I try to post an article, I get an Error 500:
Premature end of script headers: post.php.

The/this problem is only on posting a new article. But the new article is shown perfect. But because of other authors this is a problem.

    What is the reason therefore?
    Waht can I do?

    Thanks a lot.

  • Maybe you’ll find an answer to this question, from a thread from this search result? Also, try chmodding your folders 755 and the files 644 once, maybe?

Maybe someone else around here, knows better..? Good luck!

I’m having the exact same problem, and it’s only with post.php. When I try to publish a post or a page, it sits there for about 15 seconds then goes Error 500. I’ve checked all the permissions and my host hasn’t changed anything AFAIK. These Premature End of Script Header errors are a pain to debug because the error logs don’t give you much to work with, so any assistance would be extremely helpful.

Oh, I should have said I’m running WP 2.2.

Hi Sparkie. I am having the exact same issue with 2.2 ??

Ah, I figured it out — the Google sitemaps plugin I am using needs more memory.
