9/15 changes leaves an unused geo option?

  • I noticed today after upgrading my page failed despite the fact I used a conditional “if (get_settings(‘use_geo_positions’))”. Should not that have been removed along with the other 3 unused geo options?

  • I really don’t think there are any geo references left in the code. Could you say where the error was?

    Hey developers,
    What exactly is disappearing with the geo code? Will the lat and long fields disappear completely? Will custom fields be the only way to get this functionality in the future?
    Slightly concerned…
