95% Less Reviews since last Update from Cus Rev

  • Since the last update to version 5.270, Cus Rev integrated a Consent Checkbox on Checkout. Without asking! Customers are Confused and also cancel purchase. The Reviews activity of customers have decreased by over 95%. Cus Rev simply implements rules from the EU that do not apply in my country because my country is NOT part of the EU. It can’t be right that rules from external laws by governments are being applied to my shop here! Please resolve this issue!

  • I know, it’s quite the dealbreaker.

    However, I wrote a script to auto activate the checkbox upon any action. The user cannot even deactivate it anymore now. With some CSS simply chose to not display it anymore. Works just fine.

    Thanks for your help it is very usefull. I think cus rev has to remove this issue asap! England and Switzerland are not part of the EU. Hope they understand this huge problem! I pay for the pro license and i want a solution from them. Otherwise it seems i have to cancel my subscribtion. I dont need useless plugin that dont generate reviews.
