I’m not even sure how to slap a title on this one. But what I want to do is have several authors post to different categories in my blog. Is there a plugin out there that will allow me to tell which users have access to what I want them to have access to?

I looked through some of the plugins but wasn’t sure which one would do what I wanted it to do. Can anyone help me out here?

I was going to try the Limit Categories to see if that would do what I wanted but the link didn’t work:

    Thank you guys!

  • In most of the cases (even with this plugin) you cannot limit the users on an individual level – but based on their role/level.
I might have a copy somewhere but I am in the middle of transferring my files from the old box to a new one… so I can’t promise anything right now. Sorry.

Ok not a biggie. We aren’t opening this up to the public but to people that we mostly know. So I don’t think there would be a problem with them messing with other peoples’ categories. Plus I’ll do backups of the database too in case of some screw ups.

    Thanks moshu!

I would like to restrict groups of users to post and to read only certain categories. But the only plugins that I can find to do this seem to disable any restricted posts from appearing in category view, even when the a user with the correct role capability is logged in.

    Any suggestions?
