8-bit characters in CSV export create import problem?

  • Hi, I’m trying to move calendar events from our dev site to the live site using CSV Export then Import. There are problems with the file I export with the plugin then attempt to import, and I think one problem may be with the 8-bit characters in some event titles (see, for example, the titles in lines 2, 9, 11, 12, etc. in the attached file). There’s also a strange occurrence around lines 81-82. Can you help me figure out how to create an export file that will import without problems?

    I think the preview is showing the raw content, but it is imported correctly. e.g. row 2 becomes “35 & Under Sangha” when imported, but previous as “35 & Under Sangha” (with the & html encoded).
