• Whenever I have nested blockquotes, the editor “corrects” them; which is to say that it doesn’t. For example, see this link. The paragraph that starts “It’s largely the” is actually a nested blockquote and the paragraph that starts “Not only do” is supposed to be returning to the original blockquote but instead drops out to regular paragraph…meaning I’m now plagerizing the poor guy. ??

Is there a fix for this?

(PS I tried doing a forum search but the forum search isn’t working and searching from Yahoo didn’t turn anything up either.)

  • This is because you’ve set WordPress to automatically correct wrongly nested XHTML markup. (Options > Writing)

This is also why I have that option unchecked—although I’d also like to see a “fix”, in a matter of speaking.

Oh, yeah, that fixed it. Of course, it wasn’t “wrongly” nested so it didn’t occur to me that was the problem. ??

    Thanks!
