I posted this in the YAPB forum, but it may be more of a multi-site issue, and hope I’ll get some ideas from the smarties who visit here!

I am no longer using YAPB. it has been deactivated and uninstalled. I can’t find any remaining yapb files on my site. Yet under Super Admin > Sites > Edit Site > Site options (wp_7_options) there are 61 leftover yapb fields:

How do I make these go away? As far as I can see, all YAPB files have been deleted.

Not a multisite thing, really. It’s a DB thing. You have to go in to your database table (wp_7_options) and delete them :/

phpMyAdmin can help you. It’s a bummer the app doesn’t clean itself out.

@Ipstenu- Thanks- I used phpMyAdmin and found only one yapb table, which I deleted, but all those leftover fields are still there. Maybe I’m not looking in the right place? Any suggestions?

OK…I’m looking at the wp_7_options table in phpMyAdmin, but don’t see any items with “yapb”

Do a search of the database as a whole for %yapb% to see what you find.

    Found them in wp_options.

Huh. Looks like they were stuck on the mainsite (wonder why they showed for the other one)!

Since I deleted that other yapb wp_7 table I have “Site options (wp_options)” not Site options (wp_7_options). But this IS the main site.

wp_7_options would be the options table for blog (site, whatever) #7

wp_options is the options table for the main site.

So … this is confusing, you see ??

@Ipstenu- Ahh, yes- I see what you mean. The only explanation for this might be that a few months ago my site got hacked and LOTS of files were deleted. Perhaps when the host’s tech put things back together for me from my database backup he put the wp_7_options tables in the wrong place.

Anyway, everything is cleaned up now, including some leftover tables from some other long ago deleted plugins.

Thanks for pointing me in the right direction!
