How to: Extract a .tar // GZ file – Help needed.

  • I have downloaded the Category Order Plugin, but I cannot work out how the extract the file.

    It is a GZ file (something I had not heard of) and the actual file name is: category-order-1.9.2.tar

    Could someone tell me how I extract this file, so that I can then upload it to my plugin folder.
