(60) SSL certificate problem: unable to get local issuer certificate

After updating GADWP to 5.2, we found that the plugin no longer accepts our SSL certificate. We’ve used the same certificate provider/type for years and never had an issue with the plugin.
The error log says:
(60) SSL certificate problem: unable to get local issuer certificateThe analytics no longer show.

Per our hosting company, it looks like our certificates are fine:
https://www.sslshopper.com/ssl-checker.html#hostname=server.thefirstacademy.orgAny other thoughts? What changed with the certificate requirements in this update? It broke on the two sites of mine that use WHM/cPanel, but my other sites are fine.
