  • Tax is added to the amount that the seller receives. So if the item costs 5.00, seller gets 4.72, tax is 6% of 4.72 = 0.28.

Thanks Lorro. I have changed the amount. and i think i have set it right now.
Could you check it on the product URL?

The price to me is 4.72. The site doesn’t charge me any tax. This might be because it has detected I live in the UK.

At Admin page > WooCommerce > Settings > Tax > Tax Options, did you set “No, I will enter prices exclusive of tax? You should consider telling customers this. On the same setting page, you can set the “Price Display Suffix” field to “Excluding tax”, or similar.

As a UK customer, I would expect to have to pay your country’s tax if buying from you? Did you set “Calculate tax based on” = “Shop base address”.

Its difficult to be able to advise without knowing your tax settings.
