6 questions

  • Hi there,
    I have 6 questions:
    1: I do not want vendors to be able to add their own attributes to their listings. Where can I edit this?

    2: I do not want vendors to be able add their own ‘button text’ to their listings. Where can I edit this?

    3: How can I delete the entire ‘short description’ section/box from the vendor panel? I do not want this section to be shown on single product page either. As I don’t add text it is showing as an empty box now.

    4: How can I remove the ‘Brand’ option from vendor panel? I do not use it at all.

    5: I am building a multiuser directory site. No cart, no checkout, only external/affiliate links…so basically it is not a shop, there’s no sales. I’d like to remove the sales related graphics, statistics from the vendor panel ‘home’ menu.

    6: Vendor panel > Products menu – ‘name’ and ‘ actions’ field are blank and white. I mean in the name section the name is written with white, but the link works. The ‘actions’ icons are white they only show when I hoover over them.

    Answer :- settings -> capabilities under fields disable “short description”

    6. Seems like you need some CSS. share a link if possible so i can help with you with some CSS

    Hi,
    1: OK. Thx
    2: Add product > Product title > URL, Button text, Price, Sale price section. I want them to use the default button text of the site. I have a directory site which uses external/affiliate links only. No cart etc…
    3: there’s no such option within the capabilities! However we have managed to delete that section with a php code, BUT the empty white section on frontend product page is still there.
    4: Vendor add product > right sidebar > Image, Product categories, BRAND, tags options. I do need the brand.
    5 and 6: how can I attach a screenshot here??? It would explain it really well
