When you say you can’t activate plugins, what happens exactly? What behaviour do you see?

Well …nothing happens …it’s like static …tried to open ‘Activate’ in new window – activation message appears , but plugin keeps being deactivated
deactivating shield resolved the problem ..same as 6.3.3 rollback

Can you check your browsers console log for errors, please?

Both as/when the page loads, and when you click the button. My guess is there’s javascript error somewhere and that’s why it’s “static”.

We’ve just pushed out 6.4.4 which should address this problem for you. Thanks for reporting it!

Oh i wanted to ask a question about using 2 different security plugins… Is there any benefits using for example shield + wordfence ? Or it’s just a waste of server resourse?
Cause few friends of mine use even 3 protection plugins…i call them paranoics, but what if they are right ?:D

There should be no point in using multiple plugins unless you’re getting different functionality with each. You can get unexpected results and misleading reports, but it shouldn’t actually cause problem except for some (probably unnoticeable) performance degradation.
