sidebar went all screwy

I had this problem too did some looking through the forums and found this fix –

Try to validate the site:

You have a /div where it shouldn’t be.

hm. Validated the site, and that helped bring the sidebar back into the template, but it’s still at the bottom.

Cai, it’s something in your post.

Copy the contents to Notepad, delete the entore post, and re-enter.

Every time this has happened I’ve traced it to something wicked inside the posting. Find it and kill it, and your problem will be solved!

Not so sure about that. I deleted every post since I upgraded to 2.0 [01/01/06] when the problem only started after my last post [01/11/06]. Still nothing different though.

Should I just give up at this point?

I wouldn’t give up, but I would go through every post, as tedious as that sounds. It’s possible that something changed during the upgrade, perhaps. It’s very frustrating, but I was able to find my offending post, hopefully you will also. It’s not worth walking away! You might also try changing themes, perhaps another is less sensitive. -kj-

I changed my theme and everything went back to normal.

Geez…I feel silly now.
