For some reason, I am getting this error when trying to use this with Amazon SES and this site.

I use the plugin with Amazon SES on another site just fine. that site is hosted elsewhere.

The site I am having an issue with is hosted on Closte.

    Any help/suggestions?

    @extremeleadprogramcom Hi,

    Hope you are doing good.

Let me reproduce this issue on my staging websites but it seems like a server-side security issue, can you talk to your hosting support and ask about server Mod security and Smtp configuration issues?

Let me know if hosting support provide any solution.

    Thanks

Hi there, sorry to jump in on this. However I am having the same problem, and I wonder if it’s a false flag.

We use Post SMTP on dozens of sites and we use Amazon SES. Only today have I had the same problem as above when trying to send a test email through the Wizard. Infact, the Wizard was returning the completely wrong server when trying to auto detect the server settings.

So I manually entered the details. When attempting to send a test, it returns the same error as above.

However, the actual form on the website sends fine.

I’d suggest OP try the same, which then makes me wonder if there’s a bug in the plugin’s test email function.

Ok, so I just realized that the “test” email returns the error… However, as stated by @unexploded – my normal messages from the site are working just fine.

The same was happening for me in the auto-detect settings as well.

This leads me to believe there is some issue in the test portion?

    Great and agreed!

Hi everyone, I am sorry to interrupt. I am also facing this issue and have checked all the settings. The last time I configure this plugin with the same details, it had no problem.

I leave a comment here so that I can receive follow-up replies as well. Thanks!

Hi, Has anybody found a solution to this issue? All of a sudden it is happening across all of our websites regardless of the server (all dedicated). Is there an issue with a plugin update that could have caused this issue?
