  • It also breaks the woocommerce login into customer account on my 4.1 multisite

I have the same issue, so I am joining this thread.

As it appears to me it breaks cookie functionality on front-end for multisites, so users can’t login to post on forums, login on WooCommerce and do other things that requires frontend login. Also once you are on dashboard you can’t check a live preview for posts because it again requires to view frontend and of course it doesn’t work in this case either.

This bug was introduced with version 5.28 and it was working fine with 5.27. Of course 5.27 had this error when it shows that you had to reauthorize your website again and again but the actual website and analytics were working. 5.28 breaks very important functionality, so it is a no no.

    Confirmed: Same issue here

Additionally I should mention simply downgrading failed for me. Even after cleaning all caches, memcache, object cache, and rebooting I got a blank admin in my MultiSite – even in a freshly reset browser.

Ok, so we’ve decided to make public beta’s a regular part of our release cycle. You can find the beta with a fix for this issue here:

    https://yoast.com/downloads/beta/google-analytics-for-wordpress-5.3-beta.zip

If everything goes well, we’ll do a stable release next week.

We’ve also written a blogpost on our ideas with regard to beta testing:

Please let us know if this fixes your problem.

Can you please notify is when this bug is fixed?

    Thanks
