blogger import

The blogger import is pretty stable and I used it a couple of weeks ago without incident. How many times have you tried this ? Could blogger have been experiencing some problems at the time ?

Well at this moment i am trying to import my blogger posts (about 15 or so post) but it’s so slow it times-out on the login page.

In short username and pass are 100% okay but it can’t login

Any suggestions ?

Well I think I found my problem my hosting provider supports curl but it’s broken or something like that. So no blogger import for me … unless there is another way of importing blogger accounts without using the standard bloggerimport in WordPress

If you want to email me, I’ll set you up a test blog and you can import into that. I’ll then export your database for you so you can import that into a new wp install ?
If that sounds good, drop me an email and I’ll sort it asap.

Podz thanks for your offer, but I had the almost the same idea ?? i’ve made a copy of my blog on my development machine and imported my blogger account data there, and put it back on my hosting account.

It took quit some time but it worked ??

I am facing the same problem. In the window it says “name lookup timed out” and then the message:

Backing up Blogger options
blog-options-basic in progress, please wait…

Any ideas on how to solve this?
