Starting a few weeks ago, we began getting a 504 Gateway Time-out message whenever we tried to export orders – even for just a 1-day time period. When exporting with the progress bar, it would sometimes make it up to 20%, then pause for 5 minutes or more, then return the error. We’ve also tried the “export [w/out progress bar]” option, and it produces the same result.

We are able to use other export plugins without a problem, but we need to be able to use this one, so we can export out some of the extra field data from orders.

    hello

Do you see correct results in Preview ?

for “Export” button – can you use DevTools to check which request shows timeout ? I refer to https://developer.chrome.com/docs/devtools/network/

    thanks, Alex

I do see the correct results in preview – I just tried to replicate the issue, and the first export actually worked, though it took over 10 minutes to export 400 orders.

I tried again with an updated date range of just 2 days, with another 400 orders, only this time no errors showed in the console, and a message popped up simply saying, “Can’t find exported file. Try button “Export [w/o progressbar]” or contact to plugin’s support.”

I tried using that button instead, but it just loads and loads the admin-ajax.php without doing anything.

    Hi
Do you use VPS or shared hosting ?
Can you login to webserver via ssh and run command “htop” ?

    It’s VPS hosting.

I had our host’s support login and check, and they said they got this error in the logs:

[29-Aug-2023 14:49:37 UTC] PHP Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 1310720000 bytes exhausted

They increased the memory limit, and I tried another export, but it failed after 13%, and gave the same, “Can’t find exported file. Try button “Export [w/o progressbar]” or contact to plugin’s support.” error message.

can you switch to CSV format?

I just tried that, and it got up to 89% before showing the same “Can’t find exported file…” error

can you clone live website to staging website ? Disable all plugins (except WooCommerce) and try to export?
