504 Error when updating posts – ‘openresty/1.11.2.2’

  • For the past week or so, I’ve been getting 504 errors when publishing updates to a post or page. The updates do go through, but it acts as though it’s loading for a long time first and then ends on the 504 error page with a ‘openresty/1.11.2.2’ message only.

    Possible related causes: All files and the database were transferred to a new hosting server and then back before this started happening.

    504 error is likely a server related issue. – Therefore, ask your host why the 504 is occurring. – Your error_log file may also explain it. So please check the error logs on your server. If you need help locating them, ask your hosting provider to help you with that.
