504 Error when trying to configure on new clean install of wordpress

Fresh install of WordPress 3.5.0, upgraded to 3.5.1. Installed version 1.4.2 of the plugin, only other plugin installed is Wordfence.
When trying to enter settings after about a minute I get a 504 Gateway Time-out message. I get the same error when trying another link related to the plugin.
