Over the last couple of days I’ve had some notifications my website has gone offline via Jetpack. However, they’ve stopped and am now finding that trying to crawl my website is throwing up 503 errors. Even using google webmaster and using the fetch comes back as temporarily unavailable. Submitting a sitemap also won’t work.

I deactivated Wordfence and managed to get a positive result for crawling the website so I’m trying to understand why wordfence appears to be preventing these actions. I’m not technically savvy so be kind. Since reactivating wordfence the problem comes back.
    I’m on WordPress 4.9.8 and wordfence 7.1.18

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hi @hypnocox,

Can I have you check Wordfence -> Tools -> Live Traffic for anything suspicious?

From there, you should be able to see if any requests were erroneously blocked by Wordfence. Can you let me know if you see anything there?

Thanks, I ended up deactivating and also resetting all the settings on wordfence. Appears ok now having re-installed the plugin.
