Thanks for reaching out @intima. From checking your site, specifically the page you referenced, I can see some Events Calendar resources don’t load successfully. So we can determine more on your issue please share the following:
- Has this just started to occur recently, with the page loading successfully with the Performance Lab and Events Calendar plugins both active?
- Does the same occur with your WP Rocket related plugins temporarily deactivated?
While you check the above I’ll also perform some checks on my side. Let me know if you have any questions.
Hi James!
- This happened in december of 2022. I’ve had an open ticket with The Events Calendar support since then. They realized now that there is a conflic with Events Calendar and Performance Lab
- I deactivated WP Rocket but the issue still occur
Yeah we do got some database and php errors all involving The Events Calendar. Their support got the recent log.
I’m not sue if the issue is because of the errors or because of an conflict between the plugins.
Thanks for your patience on this @intima. I’ve been performing some testing with both the Performance Lab & Events Calendar plugin active, alongside the Community Events plugin. In my case I don’t encounter any conflicts, and this is with all the Performance Lab configurations enabled, including from a site that is using MySQL lite.
As I’m also encountering a 503 error when checking the URL you specified, in line with what you’re experiencing, I can’t determine the page markup to create a similar set up for test purposes. A 503 error, however, is server related. While there may be additional server strain based on the plugins you have active, one way you may wish to troubleshoot this is to copy the site using a migration plugin or manually, to check does the same occur on another hosting platform should you have one available to you. You don’t need to change domains or move the main site, it’s more a suggestion to see does the same occur with the same set up hosted elsewhere.
If you let me know when you have the Performance Lab plugin deactivated and I’ll can also check this URL once more. I can then also see the make up of this URL and the event types and features you have active, from the Events Manager and Community Events plugins.

Thanks for sharing. Did they provide details of this conflict? If so, please share and we’d be happy to investigate this further.
Hi James! Are you using the shortcode? Thats what causing my error
[tribe_community_events]
Thanks for the update @intima, I’ll give that shortcode a try and report back to you here. In the meantime, can you share what features you have enabled within the Performance Lab plugin? It might be worth checking does the same occur with the plugin active, but with all modules disabled.
Please do also share any findings you reported with the Events Calendar support team. We’ll do some additional testing regardless. Thank you.
Hi James!
I know Events Calendar support tried Performance Lab with all features off with no luck. I got everything activated except SQLite.
Events Calendar solves some of the missing code from their plugin. They wanted me to forward this to you

Thanks for your patience on this @intima. I’ve been conducting further testing on this and in my case I don’t encounter the same. The Events Manager team kindly provided me with a demo site to test for any compatibility issues.
As what you may be encountering is a multi party plugin, once check you may wish to perform is using the Health Check & Troubleshooting plugin, following the steps below:
- Login to your live site from a Chrome browser incognito window.
- Install and activate the Health Check & Troubleshooting plugin.
- Navigate to “Plugins > Health Check & Troubleshooting > Troubleshoot”.
- From the same screen click on the “Available Plugins” tab at the top right and then click on the “Enable” option next to “Performance Lab, The Events Calendar & The Events Calendar: Community Events“.
- Check for the same 503 error once more.
The above will determine whether you encounter any problems with only the mentioned plugins above active.
If the same occurs, what you’re facing may be related to your environment. What we can do in this case is to check for the same setup using a disposable WordPress site, or follow the same steps on an Events Calendar demo site.
@intima I’m just following up with you to check whether you’ve had the opportunity to check the above? I’ve been performing some tests on a site with the same set up, including via the shortcode, with all Performance Lab configurations active. As I’m unable to recreate the same error, I suspect what you’re encountering is hosting or multi party plugin relation.
Note also that from checking the URL you provided today I also notice a possible translation plugin mention next to the error on the English variation of the page. Based on this, using the Health Check & Troubleshooting plugin as suggested may be useful to determine the exact cause.
Hi James! The Events Calendar plugins doesnt really like being activated in troubleshooting mode. When forcing an activation all pages is getting an 503 error.
If you believe that It’s nothing wrong with Performance Lab in combination with Events Calendar we could close this case and let Events Calendar support continue the troubleshooting.
Thanks for the update @intima. That’s a pith that you can’t enable Events Calendar in troubleshooting mode, I can’t be sure of the cause of this.

It’s very possible you did determine a conflict. In my case however, with the same plugins I don’t encounter the same. For that reason if you do hear back or find out more I’d be happy to troubleshoot this further or try once more. I’ve also been in touch with the Events Management team regarding this and they also notified me they’ll keep me updated. I’ll close this support topic in the meantime given it’s not unreproducible.
Thank you for your time James
