503 Error on Editing Pages

I’m getting this 503 Service Unavailable Error every time I try to go in and edit my pages on wordpress. Posting and everything else works completely fine. I am running 2.1. Is this a bug that an upgrade will simply fix? I contacted my host about it and he says there must be something up with the wordpress coding for editing the pages. Any thoughts?
