• hi, i followed your directions but i’m getting this error –
    503 Service Unavailable
    ScrapeAZon could not connect to Amazon or was otherwise unable to retrieve data from Amazon. Please check your Internet connectivity, your ScrapeAZon settings, your country code, and your shortcode configuration.

    any ideas for troubleshooting?

    Hi, alldayieat.

    A 503 might not actually be a problem on your side. It usually means the service you’re trying to connect to is (temporarily) unavailable. I’d verify that all your ScrapeAZon settings are correct, and then check back later to see if it’s working. Are you seeing the 503 on the Settings > Test page or elsewhere?

    hi James, thanks for getting back to me. ive tried several times yesterday, both with the test function and on an actual page, i’m still getting that error today

    Hello again.

    What country code are you using? Also, have you verified that your Amazon Associate account is still active? Amazon will deactivate those accounts if a certain amount of time goes by without clicks.

    Hmmm. The service is definitely available in the U.S. It’s working across all the sites I manage. If you plug your configuration information into the Advertising API scratchpad (use ItemLookup), do you get results?
