    Hi!

I sometimes get an Error 503 on my website, and disabling WP-Typography seems to solve this problem. Now, I know this doesn’t mean WP-Typography is at fault, and it could be some sort of conflict with another plugin… But I was wondering if anyone had similar issues, and how they solved it?

    Thanks!

A 503 could indicate a performance issue. Since wp-Typography is a resource-heavy plugin, it might be the proximate cause of the issue. Is this a shared-hosting environment?

Yes, it is indeed. Hrm, that’s too bad. I’ll see if I can resolve this with my hosting.

    Thanks for the reply!

Ask if they can enable a persistent object cache for WordPress – that should help reduce the resource requirements (because processed strings will be available in the object cache).

    Thank you! I will investigate.

As always, your help is very much appreciated!
