I’ve tried disabling plug ins, but it makes no difference.

Only thing I haven’t tried is re uploading core files as that scares me somewhat!

I am not very experienced with this, where do I get the wp-admin file from? Is it just part of an initial install of wordpress? Feeling a bit stupid…

If you connect you site via ftp then you see wp-admin directory and it is part of initial WordPress installation.

Increase the memory limit by following these steps:
Create a blank text file called php.ini
Paste this code in there: memory=64MB
Save the file
Upload it into your /wp-admin/ folder using FTP

Am now going to upload new core files, am I correct in thinking that I just replace the existing wordpress files with the ones from the new download, except for wp-config.php and wp-content folder?

Got in contact with fatcow hosting, they sorted it in a couple of minutes, apparently an issue of access permissions in root folder?

?? I am happy it is resolved now. Just little curious to know what permission they set, I mean 777 if so then no good in regard to security.
