    The images from one of my multisite installs (just one site, not the whole shebang) recently started throwing server error 500’s at me and won’t display. Interestingly, all the files that are called using TimThumb still pull correctly. Freshly uploaded images don’t appear, either.

    Ideas? Also, on a side note, this particular site pulls images from the hostname.com/files directory instead of hostname.com/wp-content/uploads. I don’t know what that is, how to change it, or if it’s even related.

    Works with TimThumb:

    mysarasotashortsale.com/wp-content/themes/einat/timthumb.php?src=https://mysarasotashortsale.com/files/2011/01/businessman_thinking-300x300.gif&h=150&w=550&zc=1

    Same image, same path (minus TimThumb), throws a 500 server error:
