bowerwebsolutions, are you a pro or hub hosted customer? what’s the calendar url you see this on?

    https://www.villageoffloridany.org/calendar/
I’m going to be restoring at 5 pm eastern time. Can’t leave something broken up very long.

We checked the logs and AWS had a short outage and affected some of our hosted users, but seems to be running fine now… was this calendar a hosted pro or hub?

It is self-hosted on our private server.

    Hi bowerwebsolutions!

Can you please check your web server error log file and see if you can find any error related to PHP?

OK…I updated a different website, way more complex but way more solid. No problem. Obviously an issue with the theme on villageofFloridaNY.org.
I had our server admin look for errors.
? Local and global error_log files
    ? display_errors was enabled
? error_reporting (even set to 1) was throwing on any form of warning or error, and we were still not seeing anything
Overall, I am seeing that there is either an exception which is being caught by the plugin internally, or there is some form of spacing that is causing headers to not be set.
Restored website to working version of calendar. I do thank you for a prompt response. Not really resolved, but at least it’s isolated.

    Hi bowerwebsolutions!

About the exception being caught by the plugin: No, the error is not being caught by our plugin or WordPress. The error 500 is being thrown by the web server, so certainly there will by some error message in the web server error log file (the only exception is if you have disabled error logging).

We can troubleshoot together if you like. One idea would be to copy the code to a new directory (or subdomain), change some configurations related to directory and see what is going on after updating the our plugin to 2.3.9.

    Calvin,
thanks for quick response, etc. At this point i’m going to go on. Appreciate your effort, but since your plugin is upgrading fine on other themes and this isn’t a very important site I’m going to leave it for now.
You have convinced me with your swift and knowledgeable response to use timely for a site with pay on line events.

    Calvin,
Have some issues with beta testing the time/ly. Just sent an email to labs at time.ly… and didn’t get a response back from the first email sent a week ago, though fresh eyes figured the things i couldn’t figure out.

    Hi bowerwebsolutions!

Just to make sure, are you trying to use the ticketing feature? Which issues are you having?

    Thanks!

    Thread Starter bowerwebsolutions

    (@bowerwebsolutions)

This is what i sent to labs at (and got a read reciept but have not heard back).

The payment page https://ticketing.time.ly/events/65/checkout?event_id=65&ticket_type_110=1 is a bit more branded than I would like, but I really don’t like the join time.ly BETA today. Not confidence inspiring when someone is about to hand over the credit card info.

Other issue I’d still like to see resolved/addressed.

    1. I don’t want to have to display an email (because of spamming issues) and my client doesn’t want to have a phone call. Your normal event doesn’t require an email but the ticketing now does.
    2. Would like to be able to offer a discount coupon(s) or discounted tickets available via a special code.
    3. Would like to be able to offer a pay by check / will call option.

Hey bowerwebsolutions, thanks for your feedback!
    – What are some issues you think we should address specifically to give you more confidence in the security of transactions?
    – we’re asking for email and phone no so the ticket buyer can contact the ticket seller in case of any issues with payments
    – please raise the discount related request on ideas.time.ly
    – pay-by-cheque would not allow us to acquire revenue from transaction fee
