• I have installed Woocommerce on my site https://www.visitncwinecountry.com/temp (this is a proof site I am working on) and when I activate the woocommerce plugin, I receive a 500 Internal Server Error that says “Internal Server Error

The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

Please contact the server administrator and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.

More information about this error may be available in the server error log.

Apache Server at https://www.visitncwinecountry.com Port 80″

I would really like to use this plugin – any ideas why this is happening?

    Thanks!

  • Hey I found that when this happens you have to make sure you go to woocommerce in the admin panel and install the woocommerce pages and the 500 internal error goes away. I know it is a month old but I am sure others may run into the same thing

    xodusthess,
THANK YOU for posting your short note regarding installing the woocommerce pages. This 500 error has cost me hours of unbillable time seeking a fix & after I set the woocomm pages, it was finally FIXED. whew.

thank you again, really appreciate the help!

    Woocommerce Internal Server Error.

It is a must that all the woocommerce pages need to be set in admin. If you set all the pages the Internal Server Error will be Fixed. Thank you for the tips.

Anyone else experiencing this issue even with all of the Woocommerce pages set? I’m specifically getting it on the Products admin page – individual products work, just not the main product page that lists them all out in the admin.

I don’t get what you mean “set the woocommerce pages” ??? And I’m not a newbie. That doesn’t make any sense to me.

Install them? They are installed already. I can’t get into the WP Admin dashboard for this site due to the 500 error. I can get to the public site.

    thanks…
