    I have followed documents and started uploading users by roles and the plugin struggles to get more than 20 users registered before showing a 500 error. I have also chnaged the execute time in config file on server incase that is the issue but nothing. Can you suggest any thing that may help?

    Good morning,

    If you get a 500 error when importing it looks like there is something in your data that is causing the problem.

    You would have to raise the WP_DEBUG and tell us the content of the error so we can guide you.

    I get this debug error: [13-Mar-2024 09:25:09 UTC] PHP Notice: Undefined index: valid in E:\Sites\Geneeworld\Content\wp-content\plugins\entries-importing-for-gravity-forms\src\Settings.php on line 16

    This error is not related with this plugin.

    It may this is not a PHP problem. This is a server problem and in this case this is not related with us.

    Have you asked your hosting about it?

    It is already rare that you use Windows as the operating system on the server. As an open source developer, I not only use Linux on the desktop, on servers it is even more convenient. but go a priori should not interfere with this problem.

    I asked my hosting and they said it’s a plugin/scripting issue as our website is live without any errors. I have also have in my csv file the following fields, username, email address and password.

    I need some info to help you… the one you sent me is not related with us. I need some error related with to tell you what you can do.

    Hi Javier,

    I think it maybe the PHP.in file that execution is set to only 30 seconds so maybe increasing the time should help not show the 500 error? Yes, it’s unfortunate that I am working with IIS at the moment, I’ve always worked with linux/unix in the past but this is just a role I came into.

    Could the dataset that I am using be the issue? I have username, email address and password as column’s?

    Plugin Author Javier Carazo

    (@carazo)

    The dataset cannot cause an error.

    To help you I need you to send us data of the problem, to see where it can come from. Without that… I can’t do much.

    I think you miss understood, an error 500 is a vague response for a developer and I am trying to pin-point/figure out what the problem is as I only get this : PHP Notice: Undefined index: valid in E:\Sites\Geneeworld\Content\wp-content\plugins\entries-importing-for-gravity-forms\src\Settings.php on line 16

    @adildev,

    I have seen a few 500 bugs in all the years I have been developing.

    It’s not a plugin problem, at least not a generic one. I just want to help you to see why it happens.

    I ask you for data and you just give me that little PHP error detail that is not related to us and does not affect.

    If it does not appear in the PHP log, the host will know more about the error. As you have that information I can guide you.

    For now we do not know anything.

    Hi Javier,

    Is it possible for me to send you some sample data of what I am uploading as that maybe the problem?

    Kind regards

    In Documentation tab you have some CSV with sample data.

    Hi Javier I have just completed many upload tasks to your test site and my data is successfully uploaded without any error’s. But when I upload it to my actual website I still get the 500 error. Have youse extended execution time on your servers? Are youse using Apache on the backend?

    Any little will help,

    Kind regards

    @adildev,

    So the problem is in your live website.

    I have dozens of different installations with a multitude of configurations…

    The question is: what error appears in the logs? That’s where the answer will be. You have already seen that the problem has nothing to do with this plugin but with the environment.

    Why don’t you ask your host for the error logs? They will have the cause and the solution.

    This is a HTTP log. Not a error log.
