When creating a recurring event we keep getting ‘500 Internal Server Error messages after the event has been trying to update for more than about 30 seconds. I’ve checked with the hosting company and they have no internal server errors for our domain so it looks like when the event is being posted it’s timing out. We are using fibre broadband and all other uploads on the site are fine but only when we are creating a recurring event, or updating a single event, we get this error after a little while of the post being sent.

Anyone else have this problem and is there a solution please? Thanks in advance for your help.

just to narrow down the problem and help us debug the issue is it possible to try the following temporarily:

    – deactivating all other plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).
    – switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific problems

Is there any solution for this? Experiencing the same.

I am also experiencing the same. I just switched servers and began working with a web developer. He indicated that the Events Calendar PRO plug in along with adrotate is my issue with my site crashing.

I did a review of all plugins and there was a conflict with …can’t remmeber the name of the plugin now, but the one that sends out emails to editors and contributors on publishing/scheduling of posts, i.e. workflow plugin.
